As a philosophy, we work with partners for a greater impact in the community. We make sure everyone has access to quality eye care, no matter where they live. We work at a community level, rural and tribal - mobilizing, educating, training and treating people with eye health needs to ensure that even the most remote areas like tribal hamlets receive the best possible treatment. This is where we work with more than 20 Community Based Organizations (CBOs) who not only do eye care awareness for the camps that we conduct regularly. It is a core program for us. CBOs ensure that people with avoidable blindness are aware of the full range of DEF support available to them.

They promote equality for people with sight and social inclusion. They seek the views of people with sight impairment and share with us and influence delivery of services. They provide emotional and practical support for people diagnosed with avoidable blindness and help signpost people to the facility with social care and support. It is great Art of Collaboration we cherish for years now.

Because of the local partners, we have been able to scale up and serve thousands of villages for the past fourteen years now. Besides, we have other NGOs like L.V. Prasad, FICCL and SEE International.
